The Student’s League of Nations (SLN) is a realistic simulation of the United Nations General Assembly by young people aged 16–20 from schools throughout the world. It is a successor to the Students’ United Nations (SUN), founded by the International School of Geneva in 1953 – at the initiative of Robert Leach, a historian who had a long and distinguished career at the school – and the first of its kind in the world. SUN was renamed SLN in 1983 in honor of the League of Nations, the world’s first comprehensive attempt to settle differences peacefully rather than through brute force. SUN/SLN is, therefore, the world’s oldest simulation of the UN by students and the only one that takes place within the premises of the United Nations Organization. The objective is to participate in a realistic simulation of the United Nations General Assembly in the role of delegates. The rules stipulate that each delegation is composed of two students who may not represent their own country. After a selection process and registration, the students have a couple of months to propose resolutions, four of which will be debated during the conference.
Day and venue: 11th and 13th December, United Nations

Time and venue, application and registration: Monday and Tuesday December 4 and 5.

Contact: balthazar.hocke@learning.ecolint.ch
We are excited to introduce Active Aid, a mission-driven initiative by two dedicated Year 13 students aiming to promote education in regions lacking necessary funds. At Active Aid, we believe in the power of education to shape a brighter future for all, but we need your support. With your generosity, we can unite and collect as many books as possible to provide the essential scholarly equipment for those less fortunate. Donating is easy; simply drop your gently-used or new books(Only English) into the designated box marked with our colorful Active Aid poster, located in the middle or secondary school library. Your contribution will bridge the educational gap, empowering young minds and making a significant impact. Please also help us by spreading the word and encouraging others to join our cause. Together, we can make education accessible to all, one book at a time.

J'OSE (Jeunes Objectif Smart Energy) an energy label for committed small businesses. This is a student led label that can easily be scaled up to a CAS project by convincing small businesses around our Campus to adhere or our Centre des Arts to this label. They would really appreciate a hand from our side.

XPATRIA.org Association in Geneva, a local Swiss non-profit association that has expedited and launched an Emergency Relief Fund for Lebanon. Contribute to this humanitarian cause by building your CAS project around the purchase of supplies, the delivery of funds and aid material in-country!
We live a period of uncertainty and volatility and for some of our students engaging directly with the local community might not be an option just yet.
