A think tank for regenerative development (think about weaving all the SDGS together in synergy, if you’re not familiar with regenerative development). Think Tank is also a bit misleading: we’re focused on understanding how innovators in the field do well and then communicating that to other innovators. You could say we have our heads on the ground, if not in it!

We are a club focused on promoting women in STEAM through various different projects. We've been working with a non-profit called Education For All - Sierra Leone. This year we finished raising all the money to pay for the medical school fees of a girl called Khadijatu living in Sierra Leone and are now looking for a new project to raise money for. However we also do other events for example, last year we organised a middle school science fair.

STEM Centre - CLUBS/ CAS Projects
The STEM Centre's clubs at La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus of Ecolint are vibrant, student-led groups that provide a platform for in-depth exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through collaborative and hands-on projects. These clubs, initiated and run by students, offer a free and flexible environment for engaging in activities like Medical Society, Hacking Club, Virtual Reality & Retro Gaming, Hydroponics, Robotics, Repair Club, Chess & Card Games, Applied Sciences, Woman in STEM, Engineering and Architecture, making them ideal forum for fulfilling the Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) requirements of the IB Diploma Programme. Ecolint students and teachers made their first visit to in India in 2001 and we are privileged to have had over twenty years of service learning and collaboration in community projects.
We support children from the most disadvantaged families through our work in the three creches, a tribal village pre-school, and installation of smokeless stoves family homes, as well as other community projects to promote education and healthcare. We work in collaboration with families, children, teachers and nurses, skilled workers and community leaders. The project has had a significant impact on the community in India and it has been an educational journey for Ecolint students, inspiring learning through meaningful relationships, action, social innovation.
We welcome interest and participation from students across all grade levels and across the Foundation.
Students can propose initiatives to to build community and raise awareness of the project, from representing the project at social events (participation in community cultural events), leading younger students in activities (knitting for the materniy hopsital, collecting clothes, presenting at assemblies), leading activities to raise awareness of global issues (access to education, sustainability, smoke-related health issues and solutions), maintenance and contribution to the website and social media, and bringing new ideas and energy to the project.

We are LGB’s student-led online newspaper, written for the students, by the students. We write articles focused on the school, or on global events from students’ perspectives - the point is not to replicate what you would see from major news outlets, but to publish thoughtful articles of what we, as LGB students and global citizens, think and understand from these events. We have a variety of sections, from Opinions, to Inside LGB, Interviews, STEM, Arts, Sports, Culture and Creative. Our articles are mostly written in English and French, although in our multilingual week we publish in all languages. Articles are usually at least 500 words long, include a cover photo and are well-written, insightful, thoughtful and interesting pieces. We are always looking for writers!

The running club was organised as an activity and a service project involving running as a group around various paths and trails in Geneva. The idea is to turn a healthy habit into a fun activity anyone can join. It is also sometimes difficult to begin running and can be scary for women to run alone at night. This club (which depends only on the student's motivation) can help spread enthusiasm and energy to anyone willing to give it a try!
Potential activities in which students can get involved:
Marathons, sprints, or even runathons to raise money for different causes! Races can be a fun way to get students motivated and to host an event.
We organised med club, every Tuesday morning break, throughout the whole year. People who joined this club shared a common passion: medicine. We presented different topics every week in order to broaden our knowledge about medicine, taking a step into our future. We furthermore worked with Cancer support Switzerland and raised money for their organisation through bake sales and a hosted talk.
