SPOTLIGHTS

Collaborative Learning

Shout out to Mr. Wilson's Chemistry class who were calculating pH and pOH. The lesson was a textbook model of Highly Effective collaborative learning. Students challenged one another, extended ideas, asked higher order questions, and managed classroom routines that were well established.

New Signage

The new signage has been installed and looks great. We have completed Phase 1 of the rebranding cycle with the building and monument sign. In Phase II, the gym floor will be repainted over Spring Break. In Phase III, the main office sign, the large murals in each building, and the outdoor benches will be replaced.

Congratulations to Cadet Captain Dilia Reyes-Hill, she is a full 4-year Army ROTC scholarship winner! She receives 100% tuition, room and board, textbooks, and a monthly paycheck. 2021-2022 Student Scheduling - UPDATE

The scheduling portal was left open this weekend for students to review their course selections with their families. The portal will be closed Monday evening. Please have your student open their Student Progress Center and review their course selection with them. Students with incomplete or missing course selections will have their schedules created by their counselor. All course selections will be audited against the student's transcript and STEM Pathway.

Please also note that all students who plan to return to Liberty but failed coursework in core areas during the first or second semester must recover those credits in summer school prior to the start of school in August. There will be limited seats available at a credit recovery program at Liberty in June and the district will host paid credit recovery at Broadmoor High School in June and July. Students who have shown improvement in the 2nd semester have been allowed to begin self-guided credit recovery early to limit or avoid the need to participate in summer programming.
