The Latin students had the Junior Classical League convention last weekend. Our students earned 10 academic awards, including 4th place overall against all Latin programs in the state. We have three newly elected state officers: Amyla Moore (Historian), Seanna Baldwin (Secretary), and Steven Moore, the state President. Since we are the home school of the state president, Liberty will host the Fall forum, a statewide event that hosts students from Latin programs throughout the state. We are very excited about this! This is the first time we have had a state president. Congratulations to our students and Ms. Norton. They did an amazing job!
Cadet Jeremiah Campbell was selected as the Liberty Magnet HS LET-1 Cadet of the Year.
Cadet Dawson Woods was selected as LET-1 Superior Cadet for Liberty Magnet.

Congratulations to JROTC Cadet Jeremiah Campbell, who won the EBR district Cadet of the year competition Thursday evening.
Liberty Theatre students aren't just seen on our stage. Sophomores Avery Hall (left) and Kara Black (second from the right) take classes with Christian Youth Theatre and they performed in their Winter Showcase this week. See Avery and her brother Alex as Liesl and Captain Von Trapp in CYT's "The Sound of Music" March 25-27!
Congratulations to our Women's Basketball team for finishing 2nd in the state of Louisiana in Division II. These ladies have developed and continue to pursue a culture of excellence.
As a part of our accreditation process, each year schools in EBR request completion of feedback surveys from all stakeholders. Please find the links below to the parent survey. We earnestly request that you complete the survey. There is a minimum threshold of participation required as a part of the accreditation process. The school administration also uses the summary findings of the survey to guide focus areas for the upcoming year. The deadline for completing surveys is March 31.

Students will begin requesting courses for the 2021-2022 school year Thursday through English classes. A tentative copy of the schedule is posted here. Please make sure your student is present and on time for the scheduling meeting. Counselors will work with both in-person and virtual students and all course requests will be submitted by students online through Student Progress Center. Students should NOT attempt to begin scheduling until their meeting with the counselor. The Course Offerings Booklet is now available and unlocked on the school website (www.libertymagnet.com) and below.

COVID crowd restrictions and the size of the senior class have made it unlikely we will be able to hold a Senior Breakfast event. However, we want to make sure that our seniors have an opportunity to celebrate with one another and bring closure to their high school experience. Our Senior Picnic will only be open to students. Information from Ms. Duvall can be found below:
