Bass Fishing Team

Calling all bass fishermen, we are creating a bass fishing team for the 2021-2022 tournament season and need all the anglers we have. If you are interested in participating on the fishing team next school year, please contact Mr. Hilliard at BHilliard@ebrschools.org This is an approved sport through the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.

Little Women DVD Sales

From Ms. McCormick: The theatre department is selling DVD copies of our production of "Little Women"! They are $15 and will be delivered next week. If you pay Mrs. Johnson $15 (check or cash) and then send me a picture of your receipt, that will count as you "ordering" a DVD from me.

Athletic Workouts

Most team sport athletic programs are participating in summer workouts and conditioning. Please consult your coach for dates and times of mandatory and voluntary workout sessions.

Remediation, Probation, & Revocation

Liberty Magnet Policy states that all students who fail a course must make that course up during the summer before returning for fall enrollment. Counselors are currently calling families to ensure registration for the June session for students who have failed.

Calls are also going out to families whose student qualifies for revocation or probation. Students who are being revocated should reach out to their home school or the EBR program for summer school options. Students being assigned to probation status should enroll in the LMHS program. Both revocation and probation require paperwork that must be filled out at the school.

Summer School Requirements

Seats in the Liberty Program are limited. Students whose families have received email notification of the registration information will begin on Wednesday, May 26th.

Updates for 2021-2022

First Day of School: Wednesday, August 11th

Instruction and attendance will begin on Day 1.

Dress Code Updates 2021-2022

Dress Code expectations for students remain similar.

One significant change to the dress code policy will be no crocs or sandals with backs that latch.

Apart from footwear updates, the dress code expectations remain relatively unchanged.

Families are reminded to consult the dress code policy before shopping for back-to-school clothes. This is especially true when purchasing shorts for both young men and young women.
