introductions

Liberty Stakeholders,

I am excited to join the Liberty Magnet High School family. My first day on the job will be Monday and I look forward to hitting the ground running. As I told the faculty in our introductory meeting Thursday, I am not here to disrupt or upset the programs or structures of LMHS. I come in looking to learn about and assimilate to the Patriot Culture Code and to support the vision of the Liberty Magnet. I join you with ten years of school administration experience in EBR and intend to leverage every bit of that experience and those relationships to solidify and advance the vision and programming at Liberty.

I operate by two driving principles: consistency and urgency. In everything we do at Liberty Magnet - from classroom expectations, behavioral expectations, processes, procedures, and customer service - we will work to provide a consistent experience for all of our stakeholders. Consistency sets the tone for expectations. I ask early on that you support and stand by the faculty, staff, and administration as we implement and uphold consistent expectations and services.

You should also expect that we always operate with a sense of urgency. I am a person of order and structure, so I do not equate urgency with "immediate" or "chaotic." Urgent is an attitude that prioritizes and values the work that we do in the classroom, on campus, in the office, on the field, and on the court. Instruction is our focus and our schedule, expectations, and allocation of resources will always demonstrate the priority of student learning and student achievement.

Thank you for trusting us with your students! In the coming weeks, I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, and parents better.

In Service,

Brandon Levatino, Principal
Liberty Magnet High School
