Important Information
A number of the announcements from last week's update remain important and relevant in light of last week's school closure. Please take time to review grades, tutoring opportunities, and upcoming testing for students in grades 10-12 and the adjusted attendance schedule for those testing days.
Friday Attendance Issues
If you suffered power or internet outages that prevented your student from being able to attend virtually on Friday (2/19), please email your student's name, grade level, and a short explanation of the barrier to connectivity to Mr. Seals (BSeals@ebrschools.org). Attendance will be excused for those who were prevented from virtually attending Friday based on storm-related issues. Please send an email by Tuesday (2/23) requesting the absence being excused. The request must be made by a parent/guardian.
Parents should have received a copy of the 6 Weeks Progress Report in the mail this past week.
To reach out to your student's teacher, please use the Faculty Email Address List.
To schedule a parent conference, please use the Parent Conference Form.
After School tutoring schedule
The after school tutoring schedule for English, math, science, and social studies is posted here. Students who are struggling, especially those on academic probation, are strongly encouraged to take advantage of tutoring opportunities.
Tutoring will resume Monday.
March Testing information
Please review the Liberty Magnet March Testing schedule, implementing the flexibilities afforded by Dr. Narcise. If you have any questions about your testing status, please email Ms. Thanni-Irvin, the Academic Dean at libertymagnethightesting@ebrschools.org.

Students who struggled with 1st semester coursework have opportunities and structures in place to support their academic needs. In order to improve academic performance, students and families should consistently take advantage of these free resources.
