LEAP Testing begins tomorrow
LEAP Testing begins tomorrow
This week (Monday - Thursday), only students who are taking the scheduled LEAP Test, the WorkKeys (4/27), or a scheduled Dual Enrollment Final Exam will attend on campus.
Students who are not testing, will have virtual assignments in all classes.
AP classes will be meeting LIVE two of the four days (check with your AP teacher for the dates and times).
All students will return to normal schedule Friday, April 30th.

Please make sure your student has completely charted their Chromebook the night prior to LEAP testing. All students should bring their chargers to school as a back-up to make sure LEAP testing is uninterrupted.

UPDATE: Due to the number of students taking the AP Government test, only students testing in AP Government or Spanish Dual Enrollment 1102 & 2102 will attend on campus Monday, May 3. All classes will be held LIVE online. Students are expected to be logged in to each class for instruction and assignments at the regularly scheduled time.

Seats in the Liberty Program are limited. All students who have failed a core course must make up those credits before next school year as part of their enrollment. Check your student's grades and sign-up today. The link is in the document.
9th - 11th Grade Exam Exemption Policy
9th - 11th Grade Exam Exemption Policy
Please note a few differences for 9th - 11th grade from the senior exemption policy:
Underclassmen Exemption is based on GPA (3.0) and students must have an A, B, or C in all classes.
Students Exempt from only AP exam because they sat for the test but did not meet the Option 1 requirements will be in class during the exam, but will not be required to take it. These students will have two other exams, so they may be on campus.

All seniors who are eligible for exam exemptions received notification on Thursday in their EBR Student email account. The email included the policies and procedures for exam exemptions. If your student tells you they are exempt, please make sure they show you the verification email from the principal in their school email from Thursday, April 22. The email will be addressed to them, specifically. All other students must take final exams.
Parents and students of seniors should use the link below to log in to Destiny and verify what is checked out from the library/school and review any fees that may be owed if the items are not returned at checkout (books, textbooks, Chromebook, chargers, fees).

Awards Ceremony (4/30)
Invitations to students who are nominated for awards will be sent out the week prior to the ceremony.
The Awards Ceremony will be live streamed on the Liberty Magnet YouTube Page.
Due to COVID restrictions, this event may only be open to students.
Spring Signing Ceremony (4/30)
College commitment ceremony for students accepting athletic scholarships.
Immediate family of the students signing Letters of Intent are welcome. (As soon as the number of student athletes is confirmed, the number of allowable guests will be communicated.
The event will be livestreamed on the Liberty Magnet YouTube Page.
Junior Takeover/Senior Kick-off (5/13)
This Gear-up Event for Juniors will take place from 12:00 - 2:30 on Thursday, May 13th and include a guest speaker, Senior SWAG, and Junior Takeover Activities.
More information will be announced in the coming weeks.
Underclassmen Final Exam Exemptions
Final Exam Exemption Guidelines will be announced by Friday, April 23rd.
Exemption eligibility will be based on grades as of Wednesday, May 12.
Exemption Eligibility Notifications will be sent to EBR Student e-mail addresses on Friday, May 14.
9th - 11th Grade Chromebook Check-in
Students exempted from final exams (in-person and virtual) must turn in Chromebooks by Monday, May 17th.
Students taking final exams must turn in their Chromebooks on Thursday, May 20th
