CompSci-GSM.mp4

In Computer Science you will be taught in one of our 3 computer rooms using the Google Suite to create, amend and hand-in your work. We will teach you how a computer can be used to solve problems and the process we need to go through first to get ready for the solution to be implemented.

We will also look at what happens inside your computer how electrical pulses can produce pictures, sound and communication. All of these topics will be completed using the common programs of the Google Suite to create, amend and hand-in your work.

You will study Computer Science in years 7 through 9 getting more advanced as you progress, looking at Programming in high-level languages and the architecture of computer systems. In year 10 you can take Computer Science GCSE as an optional subject where we will look further into how we make computers work for us and how we manipulate them to do this.

In 6th form we have the A-Level Computer Science course, this builds on the GCSE and has you using computers to solve real world problems as well as looking into how computers have shaped, moulded, and developed our world.
