Many astronauts have described a profound and impacting feeling when they saw the earth from space. They frequently mentioned it's beauty, grace, the unity they felt with the planet as well as the fact that borders were never visible from space. But one thing they say that is visible is the impact man has been doing on the planetary surface, ocean, and atmosphere. The Anthropocene is also visible from space!
But now that the last exhibit covered the question of how to save our world nowadays, how can we shift the focus of the same question, but towards the future? How will the ongoing impacts affect the world in, say 20 to 50 years? What will the challenges be then? What can we do about it now and in the future? How can we act? And is it too late? If so, shall we leave? This new show dives even deeper into the quest to understand our current reality and paint the picture of our possible future.
