The purpose of this website is to support the teaching and learning of mathematics at District School Board Ontario North East. The Learning and Teaching Team will use this website to share resources, such as lessons to support the unit plans, specifically designed for supporting the implementation of the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum.

The New Ontario Math Curriculum
Ontario has released a new math curriculum for grades 1 through 8. This new math curriculum is to be implemented starting September 2020.
The curriculum was updated to:
improve student performance in math
help students solve everyday math problems
increase students' employability to attain jobs of the future
Ontario's elementary math curriculum was last updated in 2005.

This website has been organized around the long range plan chosen by DSB1 teachers. Teachers chose the long-range plans organized by topic.
The Teaching and Learning Team will be posting and sharing resources organized around these long range plans.

At DSB1, we are now using the My Math Path Long Range Plans. However, you will find an abundance of content on the pages linked below to supplement your program.
