DNS GRADUATION CEREMONIES

Dear Parents (Grade 12),

We kindly ask for your support in making your graduation ceremony a memorable experience by adhering to the guidelines and protocols below:

General Guidelines & Protocols (for guests and graduates):

• Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times, even inside the hall.

• Maintaining a physical distance of 2 meters apart is required inside and outside the hall.

• Hand shaking and any form of physical contact (hugging, kissing) are not allowed.

• No food is allowed inside the auditorium.

• Gatherings are not allowed inside and outside the hall. Taking photos with the graduates before or after the ceremony is strictly forbidden.

• Offering gifts and flowers to graduates is not allowed during the ceremony.

• As per KHDA’s directives, family members are not allowed to sit together. Guests must adhere to the capacity of the auditorium (4m2 per individual).

• When seated, guests must not change their seats.

• Graduates must sit in their designated chairs and not change them.

• Guests are not allowed to enter the area designated for the graduates during the ceremony.

• Loud instruments for cheering are not allowed inside the auditorium.

Exit Procedures (End of Ceremony):

• Parents remain seated while graduates exit the hall at the end of the ceremony in an orderly manner guided by school staff while keeping a 2 meter distance between them.

• Then, parents will be guided to the Exit door while keeping 2 meters distance between them starting with the front rows and the closest to the Exit.
