Dear Parents,
We hope that you and your families are all in good health.
Kindly note the following regarding the first summative examination (Minitest-1) of the 2nd term for the current academic year 2021-2022:
Grades 4 to 8:
The first mini test of the 2nd term will be conducted during the period from Monday 21 March till Friday 25 March 2022 during the Zero Period.
Grades 9 to 12:
The first mini test of the 2nd term will be conducted during the period from Thursday 17 March till Friday 25 March 2022 during the Zero Period.
The required procedures to be followed before the exam:
View the required material and the examination schedule of Minitest-1 on the school management system.
Minitest-1 exams will include the material covered between Monday 31 January and Friday 11 March 2022.
Minitest-1 has a weight of 20% of the total mark of 2nd term.
The alloted time for students in grades 4 to 12 will be 60 mins.
No one is allowed to take the ONLINE EXAM except for students with chronic diseases. These cases should be proven on the school management system and approved by the administration through the Health and Safety Officer Ms. Shatha Ali (0529551222).
Students must update their devices system including (ClassLink & Dubai National School Assessment Apps) and disable any VPN connection.

The exam can not be done on any devices with Android operating system.
The required procedures to be followed during the exam:
Before the exam starting time:
Students must bring their own devices, check their internet connection signal and ensure that they can log in to ClassLink then to DNS Assess (NLP) to do the assigned exam.
During the exam:
Click on the Attempt button to start the exam.
Read the instructions in the popup screen carefully before start solving the exam then press on the Agree button.
Avoid leaving the app or the browser because it will be considered as a cheating attempt, which will be added automatically to the student's report. Student will get zero mark in case of cheating or attempting to cheat.
At the end of the exam:
Students must review all answers then press on the End Test button then wait for the confirmation message.
Students are not allowed to close the exam without their proctor confirmation.
Absence Policy during Exams:
When students are absent for a test, they are permitted to be retested in the school only if they have a valid excuse that is accepted by the administration. The date and time of the test will be determined by the school administration.
Students who do not have a valid excuse will receive a zero mark on the test.
