Dear Parents (Grades 1 to 9),

Kindly be advised that the third session (Spring Session) of the MAP Exam (Measure of Academic Progress) will be conducted during the period from 23/05/2021 till 03/06/2021. MAP Exam helps determine your child’s instructional level and his/her academic growth throughout the school year and from year to year in the areas of Mathematics, Science, and English (Reading and Language). Kindly take note of the following:

• Grades (1 & 2 blended classes):

  • Students will complete the MAP test for Reading and Math only in the school.

  • Students are required to bring their devices according to the following specification:

    1. The device should be an iPad and should be fully charged. (NOT iPad Mini)

    2. The operating system should be updated. (Click here to apply the steps)

    3. The NWEA app should be downloaded and updated from App store.

  • Students should bring their headphones. (Preferred wired headphones)

• Grades (3 to 9 blended & distance classes):

  • Students will complete the MAP test for Reading, Language, Math and Science.

  • Students in the blended learning classes will do the exams in the school while students in distance learning classes will do the exams online.

  • A mark will be allotted for the MAP Exam as part of the term 2 average in English, Math & Science.
