Quizzes Procedures

Dear Parents (Grades 9 to 12),

Kindly note the following regarding the quizzes of the 1st term in Arabic and English for grades 9 to 12:

1. The Evaluation Procedures:

   • The minitest-1 and ministest-2 have been cancelled in Arabic and English, and replaced with four quizzes for each subject.

   • Each quiz has a weight of 10% of the total mark of the 1st term.

2. Quizzes Dates:

   • The quizzes will be held during the following weeks as mentioned below. (Note: These dates are tentative)

     1. English Language:

        • 1st Quiz: Thursday-14/10/2021 (Students have been informed through the homework plan and have been reminded by their teachers)

        • 2nd Quiz: Thursday-04/11/2021

        • 3rd Quiz: Sunday-14/11/2021

        • 4th Quiz: Sunday-21/11/2021

     2. Arabic Language:

        • 1st Quiz: Thursday-20/10/2021

        • 2nd Quiz: Thursday-11/11/2021

        • 3rd Quiz: Thursday-18/11/2021

        • 4th Quiz: Thursday-25/11/2021

3. The Required Material and the Allocated Time:

   • Quiz duration is 30 mins ONLY.

   • The required material will be added to the homework plan on the school management system.

   • Google Classroom will be the main platform for the previously mentioned quizzes.

4. Absence Policy during Exams:

   • When students are absent for a test, they are permitted to be retested in the school only if they have a valid excuse that is accepted by the administration. The date and time of the test will be determined by the school administration.

   • Students who do not have a valid excuse will receive a zero mark on the test.
