Meme Monday topic: Spring
This week, students will be hands-on, creating a 6 step minimum do it yourself (DIY) project to share with their peers. They will use descriptive and procedural writing to explain how to create their DIY project. Emphasis will be placed on sentence structure and grammar.
This week you will be continuing with patterning and algebra. The goal this week is to solve equations and be able to extend a pattern way out there - into the 100's even. You can't do that very easily with a table. Also, you will be solving for something that isn't known at the beginning. Use the videos posted and ask Mr. Garey and myself any questions that you have. Each week either Mr. Garey or I will be posting your work and walking you through the essential math concepts you need in order to be ready for grade 8. That is why we are doing this. It's not about keeping you on a device doing something other than tiktok. Happy solving!
