Current Events: All About Trash
Students have been learning about Canada's environmental issues. This week students are going to focus on something actionable that they can focus on.
1. Look through the given articles briefly, and choose ONE that you would like to do this task on.
2. You will read the article that you have chosen carefully.
3. Answer questions based on your article.
4. Reflection: How will you change your habits and practices when it comes to waste?
IMPORTANT: Please install the Google Extension Mote to Chrome - The extension will allow you to hear teacher feedback in your Google Classroom assignments.

Go to Google Classroom and complete the 'Static Electricity Experiment'. Use whatever materials that you have available at home, even if they are not listed on the experiment sheet. Just always remember to be safe and ask an adult for help if you need it!
Research and define the different sources of electricity. See if you can provide some examples of each source in your definition. You can complete this activity in a google doc if you would like! (HINT: There are six different sources that we will be talking about!)
