Students will extend and apply their learning from weeks 4 and 5 by revising their headline poems and ensuring that their work includes all required components listed in the success criteria. Once finished, students will present their poem using an online media platform of their choice.

• Poem written in complete sentences

• Words from headlines either cut out, screenshot, or typed

• Cited links to articles from e-newspapers/magazines

• Correct use of punctuation and grammar

• Common errors located and corrected

• At least 25 words used

• Sticks to one central theme

• Contains at least 3 clear examples of alliteration

• Presentation is clear (voice, words on screen, pace)

Learning Goal: We are learning to decompose rectangular and triangular prisms to find the volume and surface area.

1. We can take apart a 3-D figure to find the surface area

2. We can add the area of each face to find the total SA of the 3-D figure

3. We use the formula Area of base x height to find the volume of 3-D figures
