After studying in Paris after the war, Elie became a journalist and writer and then ended his career as a professor of religion and philosophy at Boston University.

History

Elie Wiesel was born in 1928 in Sighet, Transylvania where he lived until the age of 15 when he was deported with his parents and three sisters.
