During our four years of school at Central Valley Academy we have learned many valuable lessons, but one of the most important lessons that we have personally learned is to get involved. Getting involved is very important for many reasons. You can make lifelong friends and learn valuable lessons by joining a club or doing activities that the school provides for us. Our school offers so many opportunities for us to be active and most of them offer community service hours. CVA offers activities for everyone and you may regret not getting involved. Even if you are a new senior, it’s not too late to make memories with your friends. When you look back at your class yearbook you want to be remembered for all the memories you made for yourself in high school. High school flies by, so make as many memories as possible.

Throughout my four years at Central Valley we’ve all faced some of the most heartwarming and heartbreaking moments of our life. My advise to all the undergraduates is too never take these moments for granted. Join everything that interests you, and absolutely do not be afraid to try something new. High school is the best time to figure out what you love, what you dislike, and who you truly are. At the same time, take time to be a teenager. Hangout with all your friends on the weekends. Enjoy all the sports games and field trip opportunities. One day, you will go to your last sports game, attend your last class, and walk out of the school where you made the best memories for the very last time. You will be forced to start a new path, to grow up and become an adult. My advice to you is to enjoy every single moment, every class, and everything thrown your way. When it’s over, I promise you will wish it was still the beginning.
