Dr. Spisak has recently joined the CVA faculty and as students of hers we can strongly say that she is one of the most wonderful teachers at CVA. Her personality is unlike any other, and she is very bright and smart. She seems to come to school every day with a smile on her face, and supports our school and students, which demonstrates to us that she enjoys her job and has CVA spirit.
We inquired about what the difference was between teaching high schoolers compared to college students, and she replied saying that it isn't very different, and that the only difference is that college students have more flexibility and freedom.
We also asked her if she ever thought she would be teaching high schoolers when she was a professor, and she responded by saying that she never really thought about it. The biggest reason Dr. Spisak started teaching high school was because of her kids, and she said she really enjoys it so far and she is glad that she switched. All of the faculty and her students can agree that we are glad that she switched to CVA because we cannot see the school without Dr. Spisak.
