The call for external consultants can be made at all phases of the project cycle. The objectives of the consultations vary according to the needs of the FRC, its capacity to carry out tasks internally and the available budget.
The contracting and support of a consultant involves various members of the FRC, both in the Delegations and at head office. Depending on the objective of the mission and/or the management method, the HNSs will be included in the process of calling on consultants. For any consultancy, close collaboration between the programme, support and technical teams is necessary to achieve a quality mission.
Certain stages of the call for external consultants must be respected in order to comply with the requirements of each funder and to ensure the smooth running of the mission.
