In this section we will review the general safety rules for the Innovation Lab as well as other maker spaces throughout the school. First we will review the key rules for the lab:
Always conduct yourself in a Safe and Professional Manner
Always Wear Appropriate Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Keep the Workspace Clean and Organized
Know the Location of Emergency Equipment
Only use Tools and Machines if you have been properly Trained to use them.
Keep all Tools and Machines in good condition with regular maintenance.
Report all accidents, injuries, broken tools, broken machines or other unsafe conditions to a Mentor or Teacher as soon as possible.
