This is the question that you will be studying.
which herb grows faster peppermint or basil or oregano ?
If i grow peppermint; then it will grow faster than oregano and basil .
Here you will list all the materials used in the experiment. Be sure to be clear and detailed and write it in LIST FORMAT.
3 potts
3 seeds (peppermint ,basil and oregano )
water
sunlight
a chart for all of my information
sunlight
Here you will list the detailed steps that you followed in your experiment. Remember, you should complete your experiment at least 3 times (Trials). Procedures should be listed in STEP FORMAT.
the first step is to plant all three seeds
the second thing is to wakeup and check in on them
the third step is to give it water and give it sunlight
the fourth step was to write evrything in my chart
the fifth step is to reapeat three times
Here you will indicate the variables and constants in your project.
Dependent Variable : The speed of growth of my herbs
Independent Variable : peppermint, cilantro and oregano
Constant : amount of seeds, amount and type of dirt, amount of water , type of pot, amount of sunlight , conditions/environment
This is all the information you collected in your experiment. Here you will place your pictures and graphs.
At the end of my experiment I found out that my hypothesis was correct my peppermint was growing healthier and faster than my other herbs that are basil and oregano.
My project is under the botany topic. The problem statement for my project is which herb grows faster peppermint or basil or oregano. So that means I have to plant 3 different herbs and check them daily and weekly. The project I'm doing also takes very long and it could take years to grow. With the time span I'm given I could only do this once and hope its right . In the scientific method you are supposed to at least do your experiment three times so you can make sure you have done it correctly .My plants so far are growing very quickly and healthy ,and I have been using my research to help out.
My hypothesis is if I grow peppermint , then it will grow faster than my basil and oregano. It is going very well at this moment and my peppermint is growing a lot quicker than my oregano and basil . My basil is sort of dying probably because too little water, not enough sunlight ,and it could also be the pot but, by far is going great with my project and there and there is a lot of progress going on. The results aren't fully there yet and my peppermint is going great so I think my hypothesis is correct.
The purpose of my experiment is to see which herb grew faster basil, peppermint or oregano. My problem statement is which herb grows faster than peppermint; basil and oregano. My basil is getting watered every day and it's starting to die unlike my peppermint and oregano which are doing amazing and growing very quickly. My hypothesis was “If I grow basil , then it will grow faster than cilantro and parsley”. My hypothesis was definitely wrong because my peppermint is growing faster than the rest of my herbs.
I bought my plants the day that I had my topic approved .I have been watering them all the same amount but I think I overwatered my basil a little bit that is why it is dying . You will probably know when you overwatered a plant because it starts dying very easily .
All of the data I collected is going to help me with forming my conclusion and bibliography. The data that I collected was extra ,but I collected data on why my herbs were dying because I was curious . I also searched up how often I should water my herbs and how much. Last but not least I searched up what helps your plants grow faster and more efficient . This is what is going to help throughout my project .
I researched a lot to make sure my plants grew healthy and naturally . I researched how often you should water your herbs , Where you should grow your herbs , and last but not least how you should grow them . . The good news is I put all the research into effect and used it to help me with my herbs. All of it helped a lot throughout my project .
This could help in the real life when you are growing herbs because I cited my sources so you can see in each website What each link helps you with like the first one helps you by telling you how you should grow your herbs and where the second one helped me with finding out what is the recommended amount of water I should water my herbs and last but not least the last one helps you with also growing herbs naturally and healthy.
