The vertical nature of the blocks from Years 9 through to Year 12 allow for students to select subjects from a higher year level, known as fast-tracking. Students must complete the application process and be approved to fast-track a subject.
Students applying to complete a subject from a higher level (fast-track) are required to complete the form below (also available from student reception) and bring their form along to their course counselling session
Approval to fast-track will only occur if the student is deemed to be capable of completing the subject, with this judgement being based on their reading comprehension level and their academic achievement in a similar subject in 2025
Students must be recommended and have their form signed by their Illuminate teacher and by their current teacher of similar subject
