Hi everyone!
How are we in the middle of April already! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Our microwave is back in working order. A reminder that items for the microwave must be in a microwaveable dish. The microwave is just for reheating. 30-45 second per student. We have our specialist class right after lunch so have limited time for eating.
Literacy:
In Fundations we are having a review week while we test the skills from this unit. At home you can work on practicing writing and reading CVC words using their tapping skills.
Reading Groups- This week students will be working on a decodable book called My Pal Jax. On Monday we will begin tapping and blending words that we will encounter in the book. Later in the week after reading the book I will send home a sheet with a couple of sentences from the book that students can read to you.
Math: This week we are finishing up our study of 3D shapes and non-standard measurement. We will also do some review work on numbers to 10.
Easter Seals- On Friday students are welcome to participate in crazy hat/hair day to support Easter Seals.
Dates to Remember
April 13-17th French Week at Glen Stewart
April 15th students will receive a croissant to celebrate French week. Please let me know if there's any reason you don't want your child to have one.

Friday we took a trip to outer space with Cosmic Yoga. A great way to end the day on a Friday!
