Walk to Cliff's Dam
Thursday saw the Grade 7s stretching their legs a little, with a stroll to Cliff’s Dam, courtesy of Mr and Mrs Greene. It’s been a busy term, and with exams behind us, the holidays ahead of us, and the Botswana trip in the near future, what better way to reconnect with reality than to get back to basics with a splash in the dam, a spot of fishing and some mud between the toes?
Our route took us through Top Woods, over Sunrise Hill, down through the Greene’s forestry and then out into the clear to take in the magnificence of the vista before us.
Mud-squelching: tick
Fishing: tick
Laughter: tick
Swimming: errrmmm… tick
A great end to the term!
