Grade 6
It has been a jam-packed term for our Grade 6 boys and girls, filled with sports, learning adventures, and plenty of fun!
Our children had a blast with their sports this term, and the introduction to Clubs after half term was very exciting for them. The boys rocked the rugby field, showing off their teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Meanwhile, the girls showed off their skills and team spirit through their awesome performances on the hockey field. We are so proud of their incredible achievements and the friendships they have formed along the way.
Mrs Osler led a study skills workshop where she shared fantastic tips and tricks to help our grade 6s improve their study habits, manage their time wisely, and make awesome notes, preparing them for their first senior primary exams. They have shown true dedication and determination in preparing for these, and they have put in so much effort, studying hard, attending extra lessons, and seeking help from their teachers. These exams are a big step, and we are so proud of their commitment to learning and growth.
One of the most exciting highlights of the term was our thrilling project-based learning day. Our boys and girls got to dive into hands-on activities, work on awesome group projects, and solve fun challenges. They had a blast applying what they've learnt in different subjects, while also using their creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. It was a day filled with excitement and new discoveries!
As a grade, we are also looking forward to term 3, as we have a very special trip planned to Babanango! It's going to be an incredible experience, with lots of learning, nature exploration, team-building activities, and memories to last a lifetime!
This term has been nothing short of incredible. From the thrilling sports adventures to the study skills workshop, exam preparations, and the unforgettable project-based learning day, our Grade 6s have shown their dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to grow. We are so proud of our boys and girls and we can't wait to see them enjoying all that term 3 has to offer.
