Fishing Club

It is with consummate pride that we are able to report on a fruitful (fishful?) term of fishing. While the Midlands trout are delighted that the term has come to an end (perfectly understandable given that we landed a fish every week) there have been some dark mutterings heard in the school corridors in response to this fact. Fortunately, we will be able to continue fishing next term, although with more of a bass focus.

Our club has benefited from the generosity of Messrs Pete Greene and Ian Cribbins, who have welcomed our Clifton fisherfolk – we are most grateful to them. Our casting techniques, fly selection and fishing tactics have all benefitted from more time on the water. Roll on Term 3!
