Hearts 4J worship evening
We are delighted to share a recap of the recent "Hearts for Jesus Worship Event" that brought our school community together in a meaningful way. This special gathering took place on the first closed weekend of term, allowing the Clifton community to come together and enjoy an evening of worship and fellowship.
The event was led by the talented McDonald duo, who ensured that it was an engaging and memorable experience for all. The evening started with an encouraging message about the significance of personal relationships over rigid religious practices. The importance of embracing a friendship with Jesus was emphasised, where love and grace guide our journey instead of feeling burdened by a set of rules and regulations.
We then transitioned into a time of beautiful praise and worship. The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence as students, teachers, and parents joined their voices in uplifting the name of Jesus. It was a heart-warming sight to witness individuals of all ages, united in their faith, expressing their love and gratitude to our heavenly father.
As the worship session drew to a close, we concluded the evening by toasting marshmallows on the braai. This simple yet enjoyable activity provided an opportunity for everyone to gather around a cozy fire, engage in light-hearted conversations, and foster a sense of camaraderie and community spirit.
