Dear Parents,

Last weekend, during a moment in the aftermath of an intense first team rugby match against Cordwalles, I called upon the boys in the huddle to pause and fully immerse themselves in the significance of the occasion. As I observed the tears streaming down their faces, the result of pouring their hearts and souls into the game, it dawned on me that I am part of something truly extraordinary. Witnessing these young individuals lay everything on the line for the school they love is a testament to their genuine appreciation for the opportunities life has bestowed upon them. At that very moment, I was deeply moved and humbled by the privilege of belonging to a school that cultivates precisely such sentiments - a profound love for life itself!

As we approach the end of the term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful accomplishments and experiences we have shared together. It has been an incredible journey, filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments for our children, parents, extended families, and even old Cliftonians.

I am encouraged to see our children showing exceptional dedication to their academic progress while continuing to enjoy all aspects of life. We take pride in witnessing many of our children improve in various areas of their academic life and experience the rewards of their hard work resulting in success. We celebrate their achievements and commend their commitment to their studies.

Our children have been given ample opportunities to explore their artistic talents through various projects and performances in music, art, drama, and visual arts. It has been a delight to witness their confidence and passion on display during the Grade 4 and Grade 5 play. We applaud their creativity and artistic growth.

Participating in physical activity and sports remains a crucial part of our children's holistic development at Clifton. This term, our girls and boys have demonstrated great sportsmanship, teamwork, determination and heart on the field. While we continue to celebrate their achievements, we emphasize that the way our children play and engage in sports remains our primary focus. Their commitment to Clifton and their personal growth is truly commendable.

Lastly, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our parents for your unwavering support and partnership throughout this term. Your involvement and active participation in your child's education are crucial, and we greatly appreciate the trust you have placed in us. Together, we create a strong and nurturing community that fosters the growth and development of our children who find themselves in a very unique environment. We wish you and your family a well-deserved break during the upcoming holiday. May it be filled with joy, relaxation, and quality time spent together. We eagerly look forward to welcoming our children back for another exciting term, where we will continue to inspire, educate, and nurture young minds.
