Welcome to Primary 2!
We are learning about our local area through our Marvellous Muirtown topic. We enjoyed a walk to the canal last week. We got to watch the boats passing through the Muirtown Locks and even managed to open and close the bridges.
We are learning how to work as a team. We enjoy completing jigsaws together and we built bridges in teams too!
Autumn Walk
Autumn Walk
We enjoyed an outdoor walk to look for signs of autumn. We found lots of bright, colourful leaves. Then we wrote an autumn senses poem.
Our topic in term 2 was The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark. We enjoyed the story. We made our own owl pictures by colouring in and using crafts. We also made owls in the playground from chalk and stones, twigs and leaves.
Christmas 2023
Primary 2 were brilliant at dancing and singing on the stage for a big audience. Well done everyone!
We all enjoyed our Christmas party, creating crafts to sell at the Christmas Sale and a visit from Anne from the Church.
What a busy month!
We are enjoying learning all about castles this term.
