A Rumpus in the Rainforest
Primary 4 gave a fantastic performance for the whole school and in the evening for parents, grandparents, family and friends.
This means that Primary 4 performed for approximately 150 of their peers and for over 80 members of their close family and friends.

The Fabulous
Fours
Pupils have started to find out about some native plants and trees which thrive in our temperate maritime climate. Can you identify them? Answers on the last photo :0)
Pupils picked/collected apples from our Brambly Apple trees in the playground.
Next pupils took turns to peel their apple and help their partner keep safe by making sure they kept their fingers away from the sharp edge of the peeler.
Pupils took turns weighing out the ingredients for the cake part of their Eve's Pudding.
Pupils used their weighed out ingredients to make the cake mix. Next they put the cake mix on top of their sliced apples.
The final product - a yummy Eve's Pudding each to take home and share. :0)
After our Eve's Pudding treat, we tried out lots of healthy vegetables and fruit.
We didn't try the coconut, however we could hear the coconut milk inside, which was quite exciting.
Some of our vegetables and fruits were grown in the United Kingdom, however, some of our fruits came all the way from the rainforests in South America and Africa.
We are looking forward to trying our mangoes when they ripen fully.
Pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork skills, whilst working together to weigh lots of different objects.
Pupils are learning about different food groups and healthy eating.
This includes thinking about which foods are high in sugar, salt and/or fat and best used sparingly or eaten as a treat.
