This term we have been learning about our emotions by reading about the characters in The Day the Crayons Quit.
We tried tiling shapes to make patterns
P2/3 have introduced crisp packet recycling bins in the school cloakrooms in order to reduce plastic waste. Way to go P2/3!

We made colourful flowers by cutting up plastic bottles and painting them
We were very lucky to have a visit from Mrs Shanks, who is a local genealogist and Mrs Grant's mum! She told us all about school in the "olden days" and we looked at family trees.
We got to dress up as Mrs Grant's relatives and then Mrs Shanks showed us how to make a family tree.
