We might not be in school at the moment but we are working really hard at home. Primary 3/4 (and Miss McKay) have learnt lots of new ICT skills recently. We also enjoy virtual chats where we can see and hear each other!
Here are some clocks the children made at home. You are all extremely creative!
Look at their awesome art work too!
We have been extremely busy learning about the Polar Regions this term. We had a lovely visit to the Highland Wildlife Park.
We enjoyed a Safari and a walk round the park. We spotted the polar bears, arctic foxes, snow leopards and even the tiger!
We learnt how to measure length, weight and volume in maths. We used these skills to bake crunchy cookies. We had great fun measuring volume!
The children have been set up on google classroom.
They have all been emailed a link to join. This link has been emailed to their google email account (www.gmail.com).
Their email account is:-
firstname.surname@charlestonacademy.org.uk
e.g. john.smith@charlestonacademy.org.uk
The children know their passwords - they use them to logon to the chromebooks.
I look forward to chatting to you all on google classroom :)
Miss McKay
