After receiving pre-approval, please make sure a 6B is submitted to the Special Programs Director if there is any cost in attending.
If the conference or webinar receives PTSB credit, you will not need to put in a Professional Learning Request. Those credits will go directly to your PTSB transcript.

Introduction to Special Education Law
This collection of self-paced courses covers the legal foundations of laws supporting students with disabilities. The collection includes courses that explain the difference between civil rights and funding laws, different laws impacting students with disabilities including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the relationship between state and federal laws, primary sources of the law in the United States, the impact of the role and levels of the adjudicative source of law, the history of IDEA, the major parts of IDEA, and more.
IEP Team Member Roles and Responsibilities
This course provides a review of the team members responsible for collaboratively developing the students individualized education program (IEP) as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and explains their roles on the IEP Team. This module also reviews some additional considerations for team membership and engagement in the IEP development process.
