Kiana Ayers

I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Wyoming in 2020. I stayed at the University of Wyoming to complete my master’s degree in speech language pathology and graduated in 2023.

I love working as a school speech therapist because it allows me to work with students in small groups and build strong relationships with them. I think it’s exciting to see each student make progress in their communication over time.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, be outside, and play games.

Primarily, though, the people mean the most to me. My students are outstanding.  They work so hard and seeing them make gains is just priceless. Their families are all supportive and wonderful. My co-workers are great to work with - from the school staff to the whole group of SLPs and specialists in the district.  I can't imagine doing any other job, in any other place!

My hobbies include reading, outdoor activities like gardening, camping and fishing, and photography.  My husband and I are raising three very active, wonderful boys, so there is never a lack of photography subjects or things to do!
