You really need to focus a great deal of effort into creating first class content for your website, which should include videos, relevant news/information and high-resolution imagery to make your website ‘stickier’. This will ensure you keep your users on your website for longer.

These should all be useful to the audience and relevant to the topic.
Usability-
The user should know where they are on the website at all times and be able to find where they want to go with little thought. They should also be able to access any page they need without having to view the whole site.
Your site should try to anticipate what your visitors are thinking and help them to fulfil their needs with as little effort as possible.
A good website will have a well organised structure. A sitemap is a useful tool for organising the pages and content of a website.

Aesthetics
In this day and age, having a visually impressive website across all devices is crucial. However, you must maintain your brand image. Your website must reflect who you are as a business, and visually connect with the audience.
The visual appeal of your website not only contributes to your brand awareness but also increase your credibility.
Interaction
Your website must engage with your audience, hold their attention, direct them through the stages of your website and finally encourage them to contact you
You must create a report on a website of your choice you should explain it's purpose, audience and evaluate it's effectiveness (strengths and weaknesses).
Research is how we find out about topics. In the past people needed to go to a library and get a book, or speak to someone else. Nowadays we are lucky because we can use the internet to find out things.
When researching it is important to use a range of sources including books, newspaper articles, websites and tv programmes to name a few.
When researching it is important we are aware of the term bias. Some people have their own opinion on something and may try and put a certain meaning on a topic. This is why we always need to analyse a range of sources and form a balanced opinion.
For your project you will need to research a range of different media.

You can download text information by copying and pasting it into a word document.
You can copy the link for useful videos which you might include in your website.
Make sure you use a suitable folder to store the informnation you need for your project.
