Why are movie/videos created?
A video also known as a movie is a type of digital file. A digital camera records pictures in a sequence and then stores them in order. When the movie mile is replayed the pictures are played back in the order they were captured.
Digital cameras are typically used to record videos, although modern smart phones now have very powerful cameras.
Some common file types for movie files include MP4 or MOV. These are large files which can take up a lot of storage space. We can compress them but this might affect the quality of the file produced.
Movies are engaging for the audience as they contain high quality images, moving image files, text and sound.
Every movie/video needs to be planned out before it is created. This process is known as storyboarding. It involves thinking about all of the key elements we want to include in our Movie/Video and sequencing them. This will help us and others when we start creating the movie/video.
