You have a total of 20 hours to complete the task. 

There are three controlled assessment tasks. 

You must complete all three tasks. 

Quality of written communication will be assessed in Task 3. 

The total mark for this task is 50. 

Success Criteria

• You must demonstrate good success in planning the project.

• You must have a good Gantt Chart with all tasks planned and the expected timings of each activity.

• You must produce a second Gantt chart which shows the actual times each activity took.

• All changes to the plan are identified and explained.

• For top marks you need at least 5 explained differences.

• Demonstrate good research into website design (3 web articles) and show good evidence of good and bad website features (3 website reviews).

• Bibliography used to reference sources with the date accessed..

Success Criteria

• Produce a good digital storyboard with good design detail

• Produce a clear navigation structure for the website showing internal and external links.

• Produce a 5/6 page website which matches storyboard.

• Use appropriate backgrounds, fonts, text, styles, sizing, graphics and hyperlinks.

• Make good use of at least 5 other additional features and produce a website which is fit for purpose.

• Identify all of the costs associated with setting up a web site with good explanation of what the costs are for.

25 Marks

Success Criteria

• Evaluate your design choices. 

• Produce a good comprehensive evaluation of your website and performance. Make realistic recommendations. 

• Demonstrate good spelling, punctuation and grammar. Demonstrate a good level of writing, form and style. Work is well organised.
