Student testimonials
I decided to study Spanish as I wanted to learn another language apart from English and I personally found Spanish easier to understand than other languages. I enjoyed learning Spanish and learning about their traditions and festivals.
We went to Barcelona on a Spanish trip in which we got to use our Spanish in practice as well as having a bit of fun while doing so.
Spanish is a great choice for GCSE as it opens a lot of opportunities in working in many places with it being one of the most known languages and it also just helps to have another language GCSE just for universities and work.

I throughly enjoyed studying Spanish at GCSE a reason I had chosen GCSE Spanish is because I feel like I have such a love for learning new languages. I am also fluent in Irish and felt like Spanish was a great choice for me.
Studying Spanish gives you a wide range of careers in the future as well. Although I didn’t experience the trip to Spain I have went to many holidays to Spain where I have got to practice my Spanish. I highly recommend choosing Spanish as a GCSE and I think you will throughly enjoy it!
