Encourage Others

Every time we meet another person we have the choice to make them happy or upset them. We should always do our best to encourage them and be positive to others.

In assembly we get to encourage others lots - every time someone gets up to speak, to receive a certificate or award or share some work they are sharing with us and we can encourage them. Think about how we might encourage people! You might…

• Clap

• Cheer

• Stand up tall and watch

• Show 5 when you’re sitting so people can see you are watching and listening to them

Chat to a buddy and make up some new compliments and encourage them! Think about the great things that people do for each other

We can also clap in different ways. We usually do the regular clap by just putting our hands together, clapping around in a circle or waving our hands, but there are lots of different ways to celebrate.
