7:00 The 4 options for the fourth personalization
1- Publish your site
2 - Copy and paste the published site link into the browser and go to it
3 - Find the "About Me" Header/Title and use the "Copy Header Link" Icon (you will see it when you hover over the title) to make a copy of the URL to that exact spot on your website's page.
4 - In the Turn in area to the right, ADD the Link and push "Turn In"
First - Today you will finish up personalizing your site's home page by adding:
1 Past Achievement

Next - Check out the over-all page, add anything else you think would really make a great impression and show your personality.
Lastly - Follow the procedure you used to turn in your page again, but this time link to the "Achievement/Strength/Goal" area of the page.

Walkthrough for "Interests" Page
7:35 - I go over how to get the link you are supposed to submit to turn in this assignment again.
1.) Find the premade page named "Interests" in the page column, click on it
2.) Change the Header Image to your personal choice and erase/change the prompt (it was there for you) "School or Community..." You are welcome to change the Title/page name as well
3.) Add your well-taken photograph (or digital image) of your Mind Map to the page. You may organize it however you want...if you don't care, just add it to the top.
4.) Add a textbox near (under/above/besides) the image and then use the textbox to explain (in high school level sentences) what you did/what it is for your viewers to understand
5.) Turn in the work you have done by copying the header link on the published version of your "Interests" page
1.) Must add a MINIMUM of 2 (two) Interests. You may change the format/layout of how your page looks and how your added work looks.
2.) For each of your additions, you must have a VISUAL & an Explanation ( who/what/when/where ) of the particular Interest.
3.) For the VISUAL--- It could be an image, a video, etc... anything to visually show your Interest
Examples:
A personal photo of you doing the activity/with your group etc... (Sports/Scouts/Club...)
A personal photo of the work/end result of your hobby/activity (I picture of my on my last hiking trip)
A Video/photo that shows/explains your Interest (I love Pho - Picture of Pho/Menu of my favorite restaurant)
A youtube video (school appropriate) of your favorite Channel/YouTuber etc...
4.) For the Explanation - (Text/Written Portion) Explain what is going on/why you choose the image/video/etc... and why that Interest is so important to you.
5.) When your Page is complete, Publish, use the "copy published site link" or your saved bookmark of your published site...go to your Interests page and then copy the link to the header/top section...paste it into the assignment to the right as a "link" and then TURN IN.

1.) Set up your page & Personalize it -
You will need an area for an "inspiration board" (like a pinterest board) and soon you will also need an area to upload photos of your "inspiration artist" sketchbook assignments. You can have these on separate pages, or the same...up to you :) don't forget to decorate the page too!
2.) Create an area for an "Inspiration Board" - You can label/title the area however you want. This is where you will add images of artwork that grabs your attention and inspires you.
3.) Find Artist/Artwork that Inspires YOU; internet, Or my "Discover Artists & Artwork" Page
4.) Add images - For this assignment, you will need to add a minimum of 6 images, but you may add as many as you like. This should be a place you can add images as you find them, so you always have ideas to look at.
EASIEST WAY: Copy image (right click/2 finger click - pop up menu OR "Ctrl + C") and paste using "Ctrl + V" onto your site (blank spot on page or into a pre-set box)
5.) Then for each image -
Either add the artist's name and artwork title (if you can find it) in a text box below/above/next to the image,
OR
Make the image a link to the original source of the artwork image (hopefully the artist's website)
OR BOTH
See the example to the left...I added a photo of the artwork, I made the photo a link to the artist's website and I added the Artist/artwork title with a link to her website.
You do not have to do both options, but it cannot only be an image, you must have the info or a link or both. You could also make the artist/artwork title contain the link (example on my demo site) ...there are many options on how to complete this assignment, be creative!
Set up Your Art Class Page(s) - First you need to set up your art classes, giving each one their own page. Then:
Replace [Art Class] with the class you have, ie. 'Painting 2' or 'Sculpture 4' (replace all of them)
Add a summary about the class
2. Set up a Project Page
Rename the page title
Write a brief description about the project
Add images of your "process," ie. reference image(s), sketchbook work for the project/technique skills used in the project, a photo of you working on your artwork, or a 1/2 way progress image etc...
Add images of your final work - usually 1 full image and 1 detail is all you need (sculpture may need more). Check out THIS PAGE for help
Write an artist statement for this artwork. Check out THIS PAGE for help writing your statement
3. Go back to the "Art Class" Page and add a link to the new project page you just made. You may do this 1 of several ways:
Add an image of the artwork, and make it a button
Add an image of the artwork and make a button below it that takes you to the page (there is one there as an example)
Add an image of the artwork then add a textbox. Add a title/project name for the piece and then make the title a link
4. When the steps above are complete:
Publish
Use the "copy published site link" or your saved bookmark of your published site...go to your "Art Class" Page and then copy the link to the header/top section...
Paste the link into the Google Classroom assignment as a "link" and then TURN IN
