2026 Timeline:

Dec. 1 – I can start registering students (I will need your email address)

Jan. 29 – Edit deadline (students who are competing must be registered and all entry info correct - including a Title!)

Feb. 12 – All paperwork must be complete and uploaded!

To Do List :

DNA (Disqualified/can not be judged) ratings will be given during qualifications if any of the following is missing:

1. Artwork Image:

One view for flat works, 2-5 views submitted as a collage for 3-D works (taken and uploaded by teacher).

2. Resource image(s):

Artworks with one resource image will have that image saved as a PDF before submitting
Artworks with multiple resource images will have them compiled as a single PDF (4-6 images maximum per page) before submitting

3. Student Intent and Artwork Identification Form:

Completed online by student under teacher direction and submitted

What your 'Student Intent' form will look like

4. Student Agreement and Artwork Release Form:

Signed by parent, collected and signed by teacher, then submitted as scans or as paper copies by the day of the Regional Event.

5. Rank One Form:

BISD & Brazoswood HS requires the 'Rank One Form' to be filled out for all UIL events (including VASE) for students to participate. If you have already filled it out this school year (sports, parking permit etc.) you do not need to do it again. You only need to fill out the first document, not the whole thing (like for sports).
