On September 24th, 2021, Blackstone celebrated it's annual Multicultural Night led by Cindy, Crystal, and the Events Planning CIP. The event takes place towards the beginning of the school year and has been an important event at BACS for years now. The main purpose of Multicultural Night is to showcase all of the different cultures here at BACS! Decorations, food, and music bring the Multi to life throughout the evening, highlighting the identities of so many at our school!

This event is important to the students and staff at Blackstone because it gives everyone the chance to try new things and learn more about others! Representation matters! Cindy Pires, 9th Grade Advisor, Portuguese Teacher, and leader of the Events Planning Team stated, "Multicultural Night is always the first event of the school year at BACS. It opens up the school year by bringing our BACS family together and celebrating the beautiful cultures of our school". She follows this up by thanking everyone who made this year's event a success!

Overall, Multicultural Night is such an important annual event for our school with only ties our Blackstone Family closer together. Educating ourselves and each other on different ways of life is such an important aspect of being a human being. We should always be striving to learn more and more about others and this function is the perfect way of doing it! We hope that everyone enjoyed this year's Multicultural Night and a big thank you to the team that pulled it off!
