WORDS OF THE WEEK: budget, earn, assessment
On Monday and Tuesday, students will be MAP testing. For James and the Giant Peach, students will sequence and summarize after each chapter they've read to help them predict what they think will happen next in the story! "Will it affect the future of the story? What are your thoughts? Why do you think that?" So fun to hear their thoughts and ideas! In writing, students will learn the importance of using adjectives when they write (the how and why)! This will help in preparation for next week's character essay that they we will be writing. In math, we are still learning place value, but now ordering and comparing those numbers. In science and social studies, the topics of the week will be magnets and money! Boy, those two are always loads of FUN!
