Map suitability
Not a lot really. Bland terrain. Beginners event and fast running in straight lines. The only reason for its existence is that it was the first use of OCAD and the mapper decided to test the new software on the forest adjacent to his home. The most notable feature are the old settlement mud brick ruins in the central neck of the map.
Land Manager:
Parks Victoria (and much unoccupied private land)
Access issues:
The map has some areas of private land. This has gradually been fenced over the past decade, reducing the value of the map.
Assembly sites:

Safety Issues:
No mines. No busy roads at assemblies. Hard to get lost.
Map status:
Mapped in 1995 by Neil Barr using a cadastral map as a base. Many updates since then including 2015. Map is old but given the rate of private land development, not sure its worth the effort to update. Any future use will require a good check of what is still accessible.
