A relatively flat area with a good supply of surface mining features. Suit relay of middle distance.

Access issues:

Northern half of map is part of Parks Vic dog-free zone. So a no dog conditions of entry should be applied.

Assembly sites:

1 Along Whipstick Road

2. North of the Blue Moon mine site. Access can be rough so you should check the best approach.

3. Janaway Road. There is a recreation reserve and hall here.

4. Sander Road.

Safety Issues:

Deep mine shafts have been known to open up in this area after heavy rain.
