Complete the following steps in order:
Step 1: Open Managing Sheets. Save your copy as Managing Sheets - Firstname Lastname in your Practice folder.
/1 Step 2: Clear the contents of Rows 13, 14, and 15. This is the grey numbers in the farthest left area. To "clear" just means that you are removing/erasing the data in the applicable cell(s), whether numbers or letters.
/1 Step 3: Fix the spelling error in D5.
/1 Step 4: Delete rows 17, 18, and 19. Again, this is the grey numbers in the farthest left area. To "delete" means that you are eliminating rows or columns, such that the remaining rows/columns will shift up or left and will be renumbered or realphabetized. Be very careful not to confuse this with clearing contents.
/1 Step 5: Delete columns F and G.
/1 Step 6: Insert four rows above row 10 by selecting the row and right-clicking to find this feature.
/1 Step 7: Insert two columns before (to the left) column D.
/1 Step 8: Increase the height of row 3 to 40 pts. Right-click and select the “Resize Row” feature.
/1 Step 9: Increase the width of all columns in which the text is not completely visible. Click and drag or double-click on the right edge of the column.
/1 Step 10: Move column F into column E. Select the column in the header cell so that the hand appears, then drag.
/1 Step 11: Copy cells A1:P24, and paste into a new worksheet. Rename the new worksheet COPY.
/1 Step 12: In the Time to Practise 3 worksheet, select cells B6:B8 and cells A9:C9 and fill in the cells with a background colour.
/1 Step 13: Select columns E and G and bold the text.
/1 Step 14: Select rows 7, 14, and 29 and italicize the text. Remember to use the CTRL key to select multiple rows at a time.
Step 15: Check that your Managing Sheets worksheet looks like this. Submit your Managing Sheets to Classroom.
