Brennan Tuley, a Badin football standout, has bright aspirations after high school. However, the senior offensive lineman wants to enjoy the fun, exciting moments in high school with his friends and his football team.
“Probably college or football,”said Tuley when asked about his plans after high school. “Whichever gets me the most guap!”
The Rams face the rough, hard-nosed St. Mary’s Roughriders this Friday night at 7:00 at Trotwood Madison High School.
“I think they are a good football team,” said Tuley. “I mean I go against a pretty good player and it will be one of my bigger challenges this year. He’s quick and he has some good moves. It will come down to effort and who can out hustle the other person”
St. Mary’s has a tough defense this year. Their defense is expecting to face a powerful, run dominant team and stack the middle to make sure that Jack Walsh (RB) can not break loose.
“We have to play well in all three phases of the game,” said Tuley. “Offense has to show out and come out with the most energy we will have all year. If we jump on them early they will lay timid. It is all about overcoming adversity.”
Although they have to get past this week. The Rams have higher expectations in mind.
“State has been the only thing in mind for our whole team even in the offseason,”said Tuley. “Coaches have emphasized it. The more effort we put into anything in life, the more we will get out of it. Tomorrow night will be a battle but we are ready!”
